You want to help them and not just take their money.
It's about relationship building first. People buy form people they know, like and trust. Email marketing is a great way to do this without spending a lot of time or money.
Just focusing on one email a month that is educational like a good article or how to piece and then another email that has specials or featured products you offer is only 2 emails per month to your prospects and customers. This alone will make a huge impact on your top of mind awareness for your business and you'll be shocked with how effective it can be as long as you stay consistent with it.
